Agreement

By using this site or placing an order you agree to these terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Return Policy, Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy, each of which forms part of them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Orders

An order you place is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we email you to confirm it has shipped — until then we may decline it, for example where stock has run out, where a listing or price was wrong, or where we cannot verify the payment or the address. If we decline an order that has already been paid, we refund it in full.

Pricing and payment

Prices are in US dollars and are the prices shown on the site at the time you order. Sales tax and shipping are added at checkout and shown before you pay.

We try hard to keep the site accurate, but if an item is listed at a clearly incorrect price we are not obliged to sell it at that price. We will contact you, and you can confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.

Payment is taken through our payment processor. By paying you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method.

Products

Every jig is hand-tied, which means small variations in color, finish and profile between one jig and the next. That is the nature of a handmade product, not a defect. Photographs are as accurate as we can make them, and screens differ.

Accounts

If you create an account, keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend or close an account that is being used fraudulently or abusively.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the site for any unlawful purpose, or to place fraudulent orders.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its accounts or its systems, or to interfere with how it runs.
• Do not scrape, copy or republish the content of this site for commercial use without our written permission.

Intellectual property

The FishHawk Jig name and logo, the site design, the photography and the written content are the property of The FishHawk Jig Company and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Buying a product does not give you any right to use them.

Warranty and disclaimer

We warrant our jigs against defects in materials and workmanship as set out in the Return Policy. Beyond that warranty, and to the extent the law allows, the site and its content are provided as they are, without further warranties of any kind.

Fishing carries its own risks. Hooks are sharp, water is dangerous, and how and where you fish is your responsibility, including compliance with the fishing regulations that apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States, and the courts of California have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time you place an order is the version that governs it, and the date it last changed is shown at the top.
